Thailand Considers Suspending BOLT Ride Sharing Over “Compliance and Safety Concerns”

The Thai Government has begun proceedings not to renew the license of ride-sharing platform BOLT after the company allegedly failed to improve driver compliance standards, including a proper vetting process.

BOLT has become popular in Thailand over the last few years as prices are more competitive than GRAB and therefore customers have started to flock to the new platform but its time might soon be up.
The government alleges that BOLT has not heeded to demands of implementing a proper vetting
