It’s likely that overnight camping in two neighbourhood parks in downtown Nanaimo will soon be banned. City council voted unanimously at its meeting on June 1, to prepare a bylaw amendment that would see Nob Hill Park and Deverill Square Park added to the list of parks where temporary shelter and overnight accommodations are prohibited.
